Ward Campout

Last weekend we had our ward campout. It was really fun. Our friend Anna and her 2 boys drove up with us Friday night, where we narrowly missed putting up our tent in the rain (good thing we got up there late!). We all slept pretty well, considering an incredibly odd sounding animal that howled all night. We had an awesome breakfast (that Paul didn't have to help with AT ALL this year, YEAH!) and then Mark Mineer (Megan & Kate's friends dad who is super cool) handed out marshmallow guns to all the kids, with a bag of ammo (mallows). The kids had a BLAST and it wasn't long before a lot of the adults got in on the action. Only problem with that was that I got pelted SO BAD by these 2 teenage boys it was embarassing. As usual, the girls and Jack and Anna's boys had a great time exploring and it was really nice this year to go a few weeks later in the year. It was so much cooler when we had to break camp.
